FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
PAYMENT & INSURANCE:
My fee for a clinical hour (50 minutes) is $165. Payment is made up front for each session. Currently, I do not accept insurance, however I am able to provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance company. Some sliding scale slots are available based on need and availability. In the event you need to cancel your session, please contact me within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment to not be charged for the session.

ONLINE SESSIONS:
I have been offering teletherapy (online sessions) for the past 3 years and it has helped clients get the help they need in a more convenient way, regardless of location.
How it works: Once we set up an appointment, an email reminder will be sent with the unique link for our session. Finding a quiet place with wifi such as your car, bedroom, or an office will help contribute to a good connection. Feel free to use headphones or not. Click on the link when you are ready and we can start our session.

PAPERWORK:
New patient paperwork and billing is all completed online. When you confirm your first appointment, I will send you a link with all the information to fill out beforehand through your client portal.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE:
Notice to clients and prospective clients, under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
